Welcome, New Readers!
I'm so excited you're here!
Warm welcome to In Connection
I am so excited to welcome a bunch of new readers to this space. Many of you came on board when I published a trio of posts about some of the profound experiences I have had (so far!) working with Nahshon Cook (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, in case you missed it).
I’m so glad you are here; I hope you’re all settled in and ready for more magic! 🪄
That said, I wanted to let you all know that I’m headed off to two clinics for the next 10 days, and after that, I’m pushing to complete one of my bodywork certifications (several years in the making now)! My writing will likely be scarce for the next few weeks, but when I get back, it’s full speed ahead! These experiences are important for me on my journey - otherwise, what would I have to share?

For those who have been here a while, you know that I’m in the middle of a self-made, beautiful mess, and that my animals and my people are helping me find my way. I orchestrated my exit from a very lucrative and mission-centered science and tech career without a solid plan forward. Why? To follow my dream of helping horses heal and reconnect with themselves and their humans - body, mind, and spirit - and to pursue writing. I have glimpses and pieces of a plan, but not something that’s ready to fully unfold just yet.
When I’m back from my little hiatus, I’ll be sharing how my last day played out (spoiler, YES, I actually went through with it) and how Rosie (my mare) helped me begin to let go of a piece of me that is all wrapped up in my identity.
Along those lines, a friend of mine wisely advised honoring the feelings of loss and confusion I was having:
Work matters...like there is some deep respect, or piece of this that needs acknowledging. It's also part of you, your gifts, your talents and must not be thrown out.
You can . . . let it transition naturally. Sort of like healthy uncoupling!!! It can take a long while to have respect and love for each other as you move apart. (Also it can be quick and healthy...but it takes what it takes, can't schedule it.)
Hopefully these little tidbits have you excited to hear more, but willing to wait a bit :) I’m so humbled and full of gratitude for every single one of you who chooses to share this path with me. See you soon!!
-Tina

Thank you Tina! I'm excited to follow your journey and will be anxious to get caught up on what I've missed.
I can only imagine that time spent with Nahshon was maybe undescribable. Just his voice puts a sense of calm, harmony and love within me, so to actually spend time in his presence would be phenomenal.
